Poster Session

Show the pride and diversity of your college or university campus by creating a poster!

A few ideas to keep in mind when creating your poster:

  1. Mount pictures of various things, which represent your campus, including explanations where necessary
  2. Draw or paint a scene, which depicts an event on your campus showcasing diversity and/or school pride
  3. Make a collage of pictures that demonstrate the diversity of your campus and/or pride in your school

Guidelines

  • Content: Your poster should contain drawings, pictures and/or graphics that best illustrate the unique and diverse personality of your school. Please make sure that items and activities depicted are in good taste.
  • Most importantly – Be creative without the use of technology!   (no plugs, no music, no electrical devices!)
  • Size: approximately 3 feet high x 4 feet wide.
  • Note: Easels and tables will be available to place your poster. If you need an easel, please try to bring a foldable one from your school as we will do our best to display posters with limited equipment on site.
  • Winners: First, second and third place schools will receive a framed certificate to hang in their advisor’s office. All participants will be awarded a certificate of participation.

If bringing a poster, please email Megan Crowley  by Friday, 1/20/11. Be sure to include “FILC” in the subject line of your email and your school name, school advisor and names of poster participants (as certificates will be printed in advance) as part of the body of the email.
