2012 Annual State Conference
The 2012 FAIE State conference will be held at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL in February 24 & 25, 2012.

Friday, February 24 – NAFSA Professional Practice Workshops (PPW’s)
Where: Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
What: F-1 Student Advising for Beginners, F-1 Student Advising: Intermediate, Health, Safety, and Risk Management in Education Abroad
Cost: $200
NAFSA PPW’s taught by NAFSA Trainer Corps. Participants who complete the program receive a Certificate of Completion.
Friday, February 24 – “Pre-Conference SOCIAL”
Where: Conference Hotel, Boca Raton
Time: Friday evening

Saturday, February 25 – FAIE Annual Conference
Where: Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Cost: $85 Early Bird registration; $100 Late/On-site
Registration includes: breakout sessions, government panel, SEVP Representatives, light breakfast, buffet lunch.

The official conference hotel for FAIE 2012 is the Fairfield Inn and Suites. The discounted rate for FAIE attendees is $119 + plus tax per night (this is $40 off season price). The rate is good for the following dates: Thurs 2/23 – Fri 2/24 – Sat 2/25 – Sun 2/26. The price includes free wi-fi in room/lobby and free deluxe breakfast. The room will be two doubles or one king bed.
